1990s Had Their Heroes. 2020s Need Their Own.

The MNC job era after 1991 promised people a steady paycheck, a home with a balcony view, two vacations a year, and a comfortable retirement. It was a dream worth chasing then.

But when I see people in 2025 running the same race, repeating the same template – man, I really feel we can do better.

India in the ’90s wasn’t suffocating under smog, stuck in endless traffic, or battling the weight of broken justice and education systems.

It wasn’t a perfect world, but it wasn’t this world. And back then, opportunities beyond the default path were rare.

Today, the cracks are visible. But so are the doors. The only things required to walk through them are will and courage.

Sure, you can spend your days chasing fleeting pleasures of life – another paycheck, another trip, another branded possession. But what if you spent your time building, fixing, and creating? What if your name was attached to something that mattered?

Because here’s the truth – someone will do it, anyhow. Someone will break the mold. Someone will solve the real problems of these times.

And maybe 30 years from now, when a kid asks you what it was like to be young in this era, you’ll have memories to share.

The only question is – will they be stories of the world as you found it, or the world that you helped to build?
